Description
| Kutani-yaki, a traditional craft recognized by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, celebrates 360 years since the opening of the Kutani kiln. Kutani-yaki was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition and became famous throughout the world as Japan*Kutani, and has been collected by famous museums around the world, including the British Museum and the Louvre. [Features] A white band is accented with a single stroke. The glass itself is whitish. This tumbler was developed exclusively for shochu. We focused on a straight drinking spout so that shochu can be enjoyed with a more mellow taste, and we used Wagama characteristic shochu clay. For the exterior, we focused on a simple, calm form and natural colors.
