Description
| Kutani-yaki, a traditional craft recognized by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, celebrates 360 years since the opening of the Kutani kiln. Kutani-yaki was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition and became famous throughout the world as Japan*Kutani, and has been collected by famous museums around the world, including the British Museum and the Louvre. [Features] Red clay with a rope pattern and a pale green (celadon) glaze over it. The tumbler has a calm atmosphere with natural tones. The surface has a rugged look with a rope pattern like Jomon earthenware. The glaze is applied on top of it, giving it a softer touch than it looks. The inside is a smooth surface with no rope pattern. (It is a little hard to see because of the reflection of the light.) The Kutani Wa seal is stamped on it. This tumbler was developed exclusively for shochu. The tumbler is made with a straight mouthpiece to make it easy to drink shochu, and uses a shochu clay characteristic of the Kutani Wa kiln, so you can enjoy a more mellow taste. For the exterior, we focused on a simple, calm form and natural colors. [feedback]. I am a potter who creates all of my products by hand and hand-paints them to give them a warm feeling. I try to create products with natural shapes, colors, and functionality.
[特徴] 赤粘土に縄の模様がついていて、その上に淡いグリーン（青磁）の釉薬がかかっています。おちついた雰囲気の自然な色合いのタンブラーです。 表面は縄文土器のような縄の模様がついてごつごつした感じ。その上に釉薬がかかっているので、見た目よりソフトなタッチです。 内側は縄の模様のないたいらな表面 （光の反射でちょっと見にくいですが）九谷和の窯印がおしてあります。 焼酎専用に開発したタンブラー。焼酎がおいしく飲めるようにストレート飲み口にこだわり、和窯特性の焼酎粘土を使用しておりますので、よりまろやかなおいしさがお楽しみいただけます。 外観はシンプルで落ち着きのあるフォルムと自然色にこだわりました。 [感想] [窯元・作家] 九谷和窯 温かみのあるものをと、すべて手づくり手描きにこだわっています。土ものが中心で自然な形、色合いと機能性を重視した商品作りに心がけています。
