| Kutani-yaki, a traditional craft recognized by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, celebrates 360 years since the opening of the Kutani kiln. Kutani-yaki was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition and became famous throughout the world as Japan*Kutani, and has been collected by famous museums around the world, including the British Museum and the Louvre. [Features] No. 10 earthenware pot with handmade hand-painted overglaze enamels. This is a collaboration project with a handmade earthenware pot of authentic Iga ware. It can be used as a steaming pot by heating water on the pot and as a normal pot by removing the pot from the pot. This is a traditional artisan work by Yoshinori Fukuda, a member of the Creative Art Association. This is a standard flower that represents winter. The design is perfect for the pot season from early winter to early spring. Ceramic handmade pots are made thicker than porcelain because they absorb more water than porcelain. It is also made of 50% petalite, which makes it heat resistant and lightweight. The hand-painted patterns are soft to the touch and the lovely floral patterns are reflected on the vessels.
