Description
| Designed by designer Satoshi Umeno, this glassware is based on the motif of the kimono, an original Japanese garment. The ultra-thin Edo glass is made with Edo faceting and sandblasting techniques to express a tabi, or tabi in Japanese, The glass expresses the Japanese sense of beauty in a simple design. The series is available in three types: Hakama (traditional Japanese male dress), Tabi (split-toed socks), and Obi (sash). The glasses come in a wooden box, making them ideal for gifts and inbound gifts. Satoshi Umeno Established UMENODESIGN in 2003. As a freelance designer, he has produced and branded a variety of products, focusing on product design. Currently based in Tokyo, he continues to provide total design support in a wide range of fields including interior, web, graphic, and package design. |
