Printed in-house on a Heidelberg Windmill machine manufactured in the 1950s. *LETTERPRESS CARD (letterpress) Letterpress is a traditional printing technique that uses a letterpress plate to print by applying pressure to paper. This technique was widely used before the current mass production and efficiency of offset and digital printing. Recently, the unique textures of letterpress printing (especially the beauty of the indentations and text outlines created by applying pressure to the paper) are being reevaluated, and new design* letterpress printing studios have sprung up, mainly among young people in North America and Europe, and special printed materials such as greeting cards, invitations, and business cards are becoming popular. |
