| Based in Nagoya, jbstyle. has worked on a wide range of visuals for video games, including characters for [Tekken 7], music-related collaborations (CD jackets, tour goods, PV) for solo projects by Hide (X-Japan) and J (LUNA SEA), apparel brand [RUDUE'S], and other events. He has designed a wide range of visuals for events such as mixed martial arts [RIZIN']. jbstyle's American comic style touch and portrayal of people, influenced by Japanese gekiga, is especially well suited for fighting games and street culture. In addition to the macho & glamorous type, jbstyle also specializes in cute girls, and in recent years has been collaborating with idols in the music industry. On the other hand, jbstyle. also has a solid background in corporate, retail, and public advertising visuals. jbstyle.'s greatest feature is his outstanding drawing ability and unparalleled technique. jbstyle.'s "mouse art" (currently using an LCD tablet), in which he draws complex, strong and weak lines at an astonishing speed using only the mouse with Adobe Illustrator's [pencil tool], has been called "metamorphic" by Adobe staff. His [mouse art] (currently using an LCD tablet), in which he draws strong, complex lines with astonishing speed using only a mouse [mouse art] (currently using an LCD tablet), has been described as [metamorphic] (a compliment) by Adobe people. Since 2013, he has organized [L.A.B], a live art competition in which the winner is decided by audience vote at the venue and via internet, challenging the taboo of assigning a winner to an artwork. He has been a two-time [LIMITS] champion, and his successes have made him the talk of the town for his incredible technique.
