| Kutani-yaki, a traditional craft recognized by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, celebrates 360 years since the opening of the Kutani kiln. Kutani-yaki was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition and became famous throughout the world as Japan*Kutani, and has been collected by famous museums around the world, including the British Museum and the Louvre. This sake cup set features six types of traditional Kutani-yaki designs. Each of the six types of Kutani ware is painted in the style of a particular period: Ko-Kutani, Kigome, Eiraku, Iitaya, and Shozo.
