For those times you can’t sleep, you can count sheep. And when you need to give your chopsticks a little rest, you have this sheep chopstick rest.
The mold for this adorable Sheep Rest was sculpted in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, a region famed for pottery, and fired in Mino, Gifu Prefecture. The chopsticks are from Japan’s city of chopsticks, Wakasa, Fukui Prefecture. Their octagonal shape reflects the Japanese reverence for the auspicious number 8 which resembles the universal symbol for eternity. - 出荷

CHOPSTICK REST ■Wash with a soft cloth or sponge using a dishwashing detergent that has been diluted in lukewarm water. ■For stubborn stains, please use kitchen bleach, and carefully follow the instructions for porcelain. ■Please use with care as sudden changes in temperature may cause the rests to crack. ■Please refrain from sliding this rest over table surfaces as it may cause scratches.CHOPSTICKS ■Please wash with hot or cold water after every use, and dry with a soft cloth. ■Please keep out of direct sunlight, as this may cause changes in the color and / or shape. ■Although these chopsticks have been sealed with a thin urethane coating, please refrain from soaking these chopsticks in water for prolonged periods of time. As well, do not scrub or polish these chopsticks with a scrubbing brush.
